Where We Are

Amber has four supported housing centres located in the south of England. Each of our centres accepts young people aged between 18 and 30 from across the country.

Ashley Court is set in 17 acres of grassland and woods on the outskirts of the village of Chawleigh in mid Devon. The nearest large towns are Exeter and Barnstaple, each just 20 miles away. There is a railway station at Eggesford, less than two miles away.

Bythesea Lodge is in the centre of Trowbridge, Wiltshire. The railway station, bus station, college and job centre are all within easy walking distance.

Amber’s third centre, Farm Place is in the south east. Farm Place enjoys a parkland setting in 9 acres of grounds in the Surrey Weald, close to the Sussex border. The nearest large towns are Horsham and Dorking, each just 7 miles away, and there is a railway station in the village of Ockley, just 2 miles away.

In 2022 Amber opened a fourth centre which is located in Kennington in Kent. Downsview is a former guesthouse with excellent transport links to Ashford.
