Company Involvement

Make a real difference to the lives of young people by supporting us today
Companies can support us in many ways:

Payroll Giving

Employees can donate directly from their pre-tax pay and make their gift could go up to 50% further – making a difference where it matters most.

Partnerships

Our corporate partners and their employees make a huge contribution to the lives of the young people who come to Amber and it is vitally important to us that everyone who puts time and effort into fundraising and supporting the charity feels valued and supported. We know every organisation will have different requirements and we will work with you to ensure our approach is right for all concerned.

Charity of the year

Choosing Amber as your nominated charity is a fantastic way of achieving your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives, giving your staff something to feel proud of and promoting your organisation to wider audiences.

Gifts In Kind

A significant proportion of our income is spent on services and maintenance, (such as gas inspections and painting) or equipment (such as washing machines). If we can cover these costs with gifts-in-kind then we can use that money to invest in our charitable work.

Sponsorship

We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities. You could sponsor our newsletter or running vests or one of our events such as Amber Rocks to which celebrity friends from the world of sport and entertainment join us for a ‘party evening’. As a sponsor your money would help cover the costs so that all money raised would directly help young people have the chance of a successful and fulfilling life.

Employee Involvement

We can help employees get involved in events such as the Virgin London Marathon, the BUPA 10k London Run, sponsored walks and cycling events such as L’Etape du Tour and Ride London 100.

Fundraising activities in the office could be in the form of dress down days or sweepstakes.

As well as fundraising activities, employees can use their expertise and skills to provide practical help, such as painting or CV and interview advice, which not only reduces our running costs but also provides excellent relationship building opportunities for all those involved.

Screwfix: A Case Study

Screwfix, the UK’s leading retailer of tools for the building trade, have been hugely supportive of our work at Amber, particularly at Ashley Court in Devon.

Following a generous donation from the Screwfix Foundation to update one of the bathrooms, Screwfix were looking for a location to film their newest TV advert that showed real trades people getting stuck into some working helping a charity. After a site visit it became clear that Screwfix could get all the footage that they needed at Ashley Court, while making a host of improvements to the centre. Screwfix worked on the guttering, created new pathways, an outdoor BBQ area and installed new lighting across the grounds. It was a fantastic and innovative partnership and we continue to receive support from the Foundation when needed.
