Not all our events raise funds, some celebrate young people’s achievements

Rotawalk 2021 – Sunday 12th September 10am -3pm. Holmwood Common, Surrey

Having been starved of in-person events for the last year, our Surrey centre is delighted to be involved in RotaWalk’21. Organised by the Rotary Club in Dorking, RotaWalk’21 is a 4 mile circular walk around Holmwood Common.

We are looking for walkers to take part and raise money for The Amber Foundation on this flat course that will adhere to all Covid-19 social distancing guidelines.

There will be two start and finish points, a Northerly point close to the car park at Inholms Lane and North Holmwood Church, and a Southerly point near the car park at Fourwents Pond. This will help with social distancing and ensure that people can park close to a start point.

Fire Walk – Friday 8th October – Ashley Court, Chawleigh, Devon

Can you take the heat? Amber are looking for brave souls to take on an adrenalin filled fiery challenge with a difference!

This October come and join us at our first ever fire walk event at our supported living centre in Chawleigh, near Chulmleigh. Participants will be challenged to walk across a 20 foot lane of hot embers.

This event will be run in partnership with ‘BLAZE the fire walking experts’ who have been running fire walking events for fundraising and team building since 1984. It is a fabulous opportunity to challenge your preconceptions and achieve something you think is impossible.

Entry is £25 and all walkers should aim to raise £150 for our work supporting disadvantaged young people turn their lives around.

Registration is at 6pm. Prior to the walk itself Blaze need to take all participants through the mandatory ‘Learn or Burn’ training.

All fire walkers need to be 14 or over on the date of the walk (under 16s need parental permission).
