Supported Housing Centre at Downsview in Kent

Downsview opened in 2022 in Kennington, which is located just outside Ashford, Kent. The former guesthouse has lovely views of the South Downs, and you can even see the Wye Crown from our large garden.

The location is enviable, with beautiful countryside right on the doorstep, as well as excellent transport links to Ashford’s employment and training opportunities.

We can accommodate up to 25 young adults at our supported housing centre at Downsview in shared bedrooms. While with us, they take part in a number of activities at the centre and within the local community. The facilities at the centre are excellent, with spacious rooms and a fully equipped kitchen for the young adults and staff to work in.

We have established good links with the local community and have been involved in local village fairs, community bulb planting schemes and Canterbury Pride. Some of the companies and organisations we are working with are The Weald Foundation, Kingswood Leisure and Taylor Wimpey. We also support young adults getting ready for employment using our links with local employers and colleges.

If you’re unemployed and homeless in Kent or anywhere in the UK, sofa surfing or struggling with where you are living, Downsview, our supported housing service, can help you get back on your feet.
